Rights of People with Disabilities
People with disabilities include people with long-term physical, mental, intellectual or sensory impairments, which, in interaction with various barriers, may hinder full and effective participation in society on an equal basis with others. People with disabilities must have access to the same opportunities as others. The State has a duty to ensure the protection of the rights of people with disabilities by using all available tools, as well as by creating new support mechanisms where necessary.
Example: I needed a document from the local administration, and I wanted to receive it in person. Although the building was equipped with a ramp, my wheelchair was too wide to pass through the main door.
