Ombudsman participates in Ninth National Seminar of the European Network of Ombudsmen

Ombudsman of the Republic of Latvia participated in 9th National Seminar of the European Network of Ombudsmen, which was held in Dublin, Ireland, from 15-17 September 2013. The theme of the Seminar was “Good administration and the rights of citizens in a time of austerity”.

Ombudsman Mr. Juris Jansons was also invited as one of the pannelists during the seminar and held the presentation with theme “Keeping administration accountable”.

These seminars were inaugurated in 1996 and are organized every two years.
