Ombudsman participates in the Science Week Conference organised by Riga Stradiņš University

On 25 March 2021 Ombudsman Juris Jansons participated in the scientific conference “PLACES” organized by Riga Stradiņš University.  The conference took place throughout the day in seven sections, covering areas such as political science, psychology, law, social anthropology, communication, economics, as well as sociology.

The conference dealt with various topical issues, one of which was the experience of the Covid-19 pandemic, which affected almost all areas of public life. Riga Stradiņš University Science Week covers world trends in medicine, healthcare and social sciences.

The topic of the Ombudsman’s presentation at this conference was”Human Rights during pandemic”.
